I am excited: In summer 2020 you can read Kyle in the English version!
The German version of ‘Kyle – Im Kreis des Feuers‘ (means ‘Kyle – in the Circle of Fire’) is currently translated and edited.
What is the first book about?
The young outsider Kyle lives in the archaic-medieval world of Calhuh. This world smells of horses, the perfume of nefarious seductresses, blood and the steel of clashing swords.
But Kyle is not a fighter. He is a daydreamer, wasting his time dreaming of dragons and beautiful virgins. He is chased by the bullies of Duke DeBracy, who own him as a serf. But when an errand to the neighbouring village leads to an unexpected encounter, his fate changes, and here Kyle is drawn into a whirlpool of passion, hate and betrayal; a maelstrom of bloody violence and carnal desire – and the demons of his past.
In summer 2020 it will be available in English at Amazon as ebook and print.
This isn’t my first rodeo. I was Lead Game Designer for the internationally awardwinning videogame SACRED (2004), wrote the official novels for FarCry 1 and 2, as well as a fantasy trilogy for the MMORPG Runes of Magic. Currently I am working on Book III of the Kyle-Saga (in German).
